While not really scary this story seems appropriate for the holiday. It is also appropriate for the fiber arts as it relates to spinning and weaving. And, for those of us who attended the last Twisted Threads book club meeting it gives some additional information about using spider silk. Not that any of us would consider using spider silk but the pictures are inspiring.
