Our family has been raising prize winning wool sheep and working with fiber on Discovery Farm and at our fiber arts studio, Especially For Ewe since 2006.
We have stunning, easy to spin fleeces (white & natural color) from our Bluefaced Leicester, Border Leicester, Jacob and Suffolk sheep. Beautiful high luster curls are excellent for hand spinning including corespinning, tail-spinning and other art yarns. Fibers are also good for felting projects.

We offer wonderfully soft fleeces. We have been specializing in fine fleeced Shetlands and micron our sheep to adhere to the requirements to have sheep registered with the Fine Fleece Association. Have many of the natural colors and also dye some of our fleeces here at the farm. We sell our washed fleeces at the skirted weight and save you that chore.

There’s a special connection that comes from raising your own fiber and dyeing, felting or spinning it to create something unique. It connects you to the process of turning fibers into fabric in a way that gives you more respect and reverence for the materials used, the process itself and a better appreciation of that history.
