Always wanted to learn to make soap but were afraid to deal with the lye? This course will teach you how to make soap. You will learn how to safely handle lye, read and make a basic recipe, and develop some basic soaping skills. Students will leave with soap they have made themselves, a mold so they can make soap at home, and a booklet clearly explaining everything learned in class that includes a resource page, tips and ideas for making different kinds of soap and a trouble shooting guide should things go wrong with your soap.
Cost – $45 Early Bird/ $50 Regular plus $10 for materials.
